Requirements to be an Active Volunteer

To become an active volunteer in the Holliston Emergency Response Corps...

• Complete and sign a Volunteer Application Form.
• Pass CORI check.
• Complete required training:
• MRC 101
  An introductory course that reviews the history, purpose, and operation of the Medical Reserve Corps.
• ICS 100
  Introduction to the Incident Command System, introduces the Incident Command System (ICS) and provides the foundation for higher level ICS training. This course describes the history, features and principles, and organizational structure of the Incident Command System. It also explains the relationship between ICS and the National Incident Management System (NIMS).
• Attend other HERC and Region 4A trainings and activities of your choice.
